An inherited CC41 utility chair with a raggedy cat scratched cover has a newly tailored outfit fitted to show off its sleek curves; and a pouffey pouffe is de-puffed of its muffin-top for a slimmer, contemporary silhouette

Dragged from a skip in a decrepit state, this vintage ‘Organic chair’ has been completely stripped, re-foamed and re-dressed in a teal Bute wool fabric which replicates the original cloth; magnificent legs and alloy trims refurbished beautifully by the clients, a couple with great vision and amazing dumpster-diving agility :)

This ‘scandi’ style couch has been jazzed up no end with a luscious blue chenille from Designers Guild, a new back configuration makes ‘cushion -slippage’ a thing of the past :)
This small traditionally stuffed chair had a wobbly arm and was in need of some deep reconstructive surgery; glue, clamp, nip and tuck, then wrapped in sumptuously stroke-able velvet of darkest midnight blue :)

Stripping this charming little traditionally stuffed chesterfield revealed an unexpected story and explained its lop-sided look; it was once a drop-arm sofa! – The mechanism had been long since been removed and the frame reinforced wonkily making the job of matching it up tricky.

The G-Plan 6250 was known as ‘The worlds most comfortable chair’ in 1962 and was made famous by the Bond villain Bloefeld; but with the bottom hanging out and old, cold leather covers this one didn’t live up to much …until now… seat platform is re-built and luscious velvets whirled around in a poooof of magic it’s now more suited to Pussy Galore ;)

The crazy days of mind bending pattern matching are (almost) forgotten now that the ‘Sofa of a Million Moths’ (look closely) is finished; the alignment of the Timerous Beasties ‘Bellmoth’ fabric runs up & down and side to side, round the corner and back – like I said, mind-bending but a great chance for show-boating :)

A massive, well used family scatter back sofa, was to have a new look with custom made full back cushions.
The enormous bare frame was collected and after new luxurious feather wrapped foam core seat cushions and the puffiest of hollowfibre back cushions had been sourced, this sofa was covered in the most tactile of sumptuous blue velvets and delivered back as a brand new piece of luxury ‘on trend’ opulence.
This much loved inherited ‘egg’ chair was looking sadly worn out and leaking decomposing foam-dust like a good-un; so it was stripped of all foam and re-padded before the tailored covered was stitched to fit from the juiciest tangerine wool fabric.
A tired pair of tub chairs were ready for some T.L.C. and an injection of drama; this vivacious fabric does not disappoint and makes these real statement pieces.
A delicate pair of victorian balloon back chairs get a bold overhaul with this zinging fabric.
It takes great vision, creative thought and a bit of faith to imagine that this tattily, well worn armchair could ever look stylish; double thumbs up to another client who has all of the above and allowed me to waggle the wow wand once again.

This modern day classic Ercol armchair has had its comfort ramped up a gear with a new foam core fibre wrapped seat cushion, finished in a red velvet softer than a baby hamster with a cluster of scatter cushions, this really is the last word in coziness.
Now for something different; five pairs of hand finished eyelet curtains including two full length sets and oodles of scatter cushions give a transformative ‘summer in bloom’ vibe at any time of the year.
